Leeds products are under warranty to the original retail purchaser when purchased directly from an authorized Leeds dealer or from the Leeds online store to be complete and free from defects in materials and workmanship.
All Leeds products under warranty are effective from the date of purchase by the end-user provided the product is purchased in NEW condition. Products purchased from 3rd party sellers not affiliated with Leeds Bicycle Solutions, LLC are not covered under warranty from Leeds Bicycle Solutions LLC.

What is Not Covered by the Leeds Warranty
Leeds products come with a powerful guarantee; we stand behind the legendary quality and detail of all our products. But we also embrace the wild, adventurous, unforeseen ways of life. If there is a defect in the materials or workmanship of your Leeds product, you can contact us or file a claim by completing Leeds warranty claim process. Please login to your account and file the claim. If your product meets Leeds warranty policy, a store credit will be issued for a replacement product (shipping and taxes not included in credit). If your Leeds product is damaged during normal or abnormal adventure, you will not qualify for a warranty replacement, but you will have epic stories to tell your friends. Overseas shipments are not covered under shipping damages. Kits in the United States are shipped via FedEx Ground and guaranteed to be damage-free.
Unfortunately, we do not have control of the shipment once it leaves United States territory as it is turned over to your local shipping service. Therefore, once a product leaves the United States it no longer falls within our warranty guidelines. Our batteries are warranted to work upon arrival. Batteries are guaranteed for their tested life span of 1,500 charges at 80% remaining capacity, and we cannot warranty them for some stresses and adventures you may put them through. We do offer damage and crash replacement batteries at a significant discount - crashes and "dropped batteries" or damaged batteries are not covered under the terms of the warranty - if your battery has been damaged during your journeys. Please care for your battery with TLC!
"Spin Out" - Spinning out the axles inside of your dropouts - We are unable to be there when the kit is installed so it is up to you to understand the high torque involved at the dropouts and install them correctly. If your dropouts are not correctly suited to fit the axle then you should not install the kit on those forks. Get new forks, file the forks to the axle fit "flush" or contact us to return the kit. We will not refund or replace a motor that has been "spun out".
"Over Voltage" - Connecting a larger battery greater than 30 nominal volts can damage the 250 Series controller, wires and/or connectors. Damaging any kit component or motor by connecting the wrong battery type is not covered under warranty. The Leeds 250 Series controller will work with any Leeds 24 volt (30v nominal) battery pack. Using the controller with any battery larger than 30 nominal volts will void the warranty for your controller.
Water Damage to the Battery/Improperly Caring for the Battery - The battery warranty does not include damage from power surges, use of improper charger including 24+ hour charging, improper maintenance or other such misuse, or improper wear and tear from wild use.
* Batteries need to be stored nominally charged and kept in a dry environment. They should be charged after use and never stored for long periods of time - 30 days - empty or without maintenance charging - batteries must receive a maintenance charge every thirty days.
* Batteries should not be submerged in liquid or exposed to moisture for any reason.
Warranties are limited to replacement of parts and/or products determined by Leeds, at its sole discretion, to be defective. In cases where multiple components are missing, you may be redirected to the retailer for assistance. If you have crashed or damaged your kit, submit a crash replacement claim and we may approve a replacement item at cost. The item needs to arrive at our warehouse for us to inspect prior to a warranty or crash replacement approval. We want to keep you riding and enjoying the adventure.
The Leeds Limited Warranty does not cover or apply to the following: Wild wear and tear; any damage, failure and/or loss caused by accident, orders outside of the USA and Canada, misuse, neglect, improper storage (45 days without using and/or charging), extreme weather, sparks, abuse and/or failure to follow instructions or warnings as stated on the product or in the applicable owner’s manual or other printed materials provided with the product; damage, failure and/or loss caused by the use of the product for stunt riding, ramp jumping, competition, off-road use, acrobatics, trick riding, or other similar activities, or use in any other manner for which such products were not specifically designed. Additionally, one purchase is under warranty one time. This prevents irregular use and damage to occur to a quality product.
This warranty does not apply to any products or components, mechanical and/or electrical, which have in any way been altered from their original configuration by any person. Leeds will not be liable and/or responsible for any damage, failure or loss caused by any authorized or unauthorized service or use of parts.
Rentals, Commercial Use & Non- Authorized or 3rd Party Sellers:
The Leeds Limited Warranty does not cover or apply to any Leeds product used for rental or commercial purposes unless the specific product is designated, labeled or marketed by Leeds as acceptable for rental or commercial use. All products used for rentals are under warranty across the board for a period of 90 days.
The Leeds Limited Warranty does not cover or apply to any Leeds product sold by a non-authorized reseller or retailer.
The Leeds Limited Warranty does not cover or apply to any replacement, maintenance or accessory parts not sold directly by Leeds to the original retail purchaser.
Those parts and/or products which are determined by Leeds to be defective and to qualify for warranty replacement will be provided at no charge, only after a valid warranty claim is processed by Leeds Customer Service Department. Warranty claims must be made by the original purchaser by submitting the claim online after logging into your account within the warranty period (stated above). Customer is responsible for shipping charges to return parts under warranty to Leeds. Shipments must be packed securely and must include shipping insurance.
Leeds, at its sole discretion, has the option of replacing with a new part, or factory re-certified part. The Limited Warranty stated herein is in lieu of and expressly excludes all other warranties not expressly set forth herein, whether expressed or implied by law or otherwise, including, but not limited to, any warrantees for merchantability and/or fitness for any particular purpose. Leeds shall in no event be liable or responsible for incidental or consequential losses, damages or expenses in connection with their products. The liability of Leeds hereunder is expressly limited to the replacement of goods complying with this warranty or at the sole discretion of Leeds to the repayment of an amount equivalent to the purchase price of the product in question.

Warranty is only applicable when warranty card has been registered within 45 days of delivery as detailed in warranty document received with order. Warranty cards received after 45 days from delivery are considered void.
